Well, my class at the AAI is over, and I want to thank Karl Gnass for making it such a great experience. Anyone even remotely interested in storyboards (or just making good films) needs to take this class.

The final assignment was to use a script he provided, only try to put a new twist on it (no "talking heads" storyboards). The script was a scene from LUV, by Murray Schisgal, and being the little creep that I am, I turned it into a psycho suspense/romance. Love is crazy.

Still having a blast in my Storyboard class at the American Animation Institute. Our recent assignment was an updating on an old fable. I chose the "Pine Gum Baby" (aka "Tar Baby", depending on where in America the story's told, I suppose), and, after much weird brainstorming and gallons of coffee, somehow ended up with a Prohibition era story of rabbits with guns and transvestite cops. Don't ask.

Just enjoy the show! Here it is in animatic form (click the image); you can also see some of the individual boards here.
